Mountain Biking | White Clay, DE
I've always had this place in the back of my mind. And it's taken years to finally get in my car and drive for 50 min over the border to Delaware and unpack my bike. Well worth the drive because this was some of the best singletrack I've ever been on, ever. Ever. Honestly I felt like I could pump around for ages and the only limiting factor would be hours of sunshine left and water packed. I even managed to sight some foxes during the ride. Can't wait to get back out there.

Yeti SB6c - Limited Edition
You may have caught the SB6c in action from a previous post, here. So you know my love for Yeti bikes is real and I can't wait to cruise on one of these guys in the future. A little pricey, starting at around $9,000, but the specs are sweeeeet. Fox components, carbon fiber frame, SRAM parts, DT Swiss wheels and quite a stellar paint job. Captained by the Aussie Jared Graves, who has won multiple enduro championships aboard the Yeti, this bike is sure to put a dent in your bank account but will likely outlast you. #FamilyHeirloom

Mountain Bikes and Bothy Nights
Bothy – a Scottish term for refuge.
A great bit of biking film capturing beautiful and remote parts of Scotland, Beach, mountains, snow, bogs, and everything in between. A bit of wildlife and history snuck in as well. The gentleman behind the camera and on the saddle: Alastair Humphreys

Thrills and Spills
I'm writing this post with a fat lip and an elevated leg while resting on my couch. I took a little tumble in the woods this morning. Dammit. Hopefully nothing too bad that a little ice and time wont heal.
Otherwise, the trails were wonderful. Flowers are in full bloom, birds singing in the trees, and just a nice calm morning. I even saw a Ruffed Grouse while I took a little water break. The RockBros Bike Bicycle Pedals were a new addition to my bike(old faithful Giant Yukon) this season and they were great! Super grippy, lightweight and really fun to ride on platforms rather than cages or clip ins. Next time I hope to report only thrills. Have a great weekend!!

Bread & Butter by Chris Akrigg
A sweet little mountain bike edit by Chris Akrigg as he takes on the trails of Spain aboard a fiery orange Mongoose. Also a little peak into how he puts his lines together and what goes into making everything looking as smooth as, well...butter.

Cycling Caps
I have a few caps hanging around and used to wear them in colder weather while on the dirt trails or when it rained. I have to admit that though guys can for the most part pull off wearing the cap, it is much harder for women. Do you agree? Maybe I have a funny shaped head.
I've read a dozen or so articles about the history and "how to wear" guides for the old casquette. Here's my favorite how-to guide over at Cycling Tips.
What are your thoughts on the cycling cap? Do you wear it solely while riding? Or is it okay to accessorize your daily wear with it? Are you a collector?
It's raining here in these parts, but you enjoy your weekend wherever you are!

Winter Mountain Biking Videos
A couple of mountain biking videos to get you through the day. I really like the vibes for each video and they've helped to get me into the spirit of getting-off-my-butt this season.
