Man, it's been a hot minute since I actually splurged on some nice coffee to brew at home.  I'll admit, I get through a school day amped up on Folgers most of the time.  Bulk goods at low, low prices!  

In Philadelphia we are lucky to have a number of great coffee shops and roasters.  ReAnimator, Elixr, Joe and Nook just to name a tiny few.  Fortunately ReAnimator is stocked in a variety of grocery stores in the area and some coffee shops.  They have two cafes in the city, one in Fishtown and the other in Kensington.

Here we have the Foundation Blend which was delicious from start to finish.  Oh the sweet smell of freshly ground beans!  The flavors were simple, bold, sweet and perfect.  ReAnimator describes Foundation as sugary fruit with raw chocolate.  I'd like to agree on the flavor notes, but honestly it just tasted darn good to me.
