I used to think that the only beer that I truly couldn't live without was Edmund Fitzgerald Porter.  MMM, so tasty and smooth.  Then, out of the blue, Smuttynose brewing company punched me in the mouth with their amazing Pumpkin Ale.  I can't get enough of it.  It's actually brewed with pumpkins and not just spices.  Get some.

Any other seasonal recommendations out there?  I'm open to suggestions!  Also, can you believe it's almost October?

  1. Southern Tier Imperial Pumking Ale is also brewed with pumpkins and is absolutely delicious.

  2. Shipyard has a good pumpkin ale, nice and dry, and I just tried Weyerbacher's pumpkin ale which was very robust, deep complex flavors. I'd try the Weyerbacher if you can find it.

  3. all great suggestions, hoping to get all the pumpkin brews I can in before November!
