Vacation to South Korea | Part III: DMZ and Panmunjon Tour

 'Xplored some tunnels

Dammit, my one chance to get a good shot and my eyes were closed!

Chilling on the balcony

Yep, had to do it.  The DMZ tour led you into the third tunnel excavated in secret by North Korean soldiers.  It was so eerie to hear that 35,000 N. Korean troops could take this tunnel under 40 minutes and reach Seoul.  Thankfully it was found before that could happen.  The JSA (above with the blue buildings) is actually where the North and South stand to face one another all day.  The Joint Security Area, if you only have time to do one tour, is a must.  I could go on all day with details, but for now, just the pictures.
