Philly Bike Share

Philly Indego Bike Share is now in full swing.  Kisoks are popping up all over the city and more and more sightings of folks giving the blue bikes a go everyday.  Seriously, check out all of the stations!

I haven't given them a spin yet, but definitely on the agenda when I have some visitors in from out of town.  The bike itself looks like a tank and will surely be tough enough to handle all of the obstacles, weather, and potholes in the city!  Check out the specs here.  I'll have more to report when I pop mad wheelies on 'em in the future.

    it didn't take off in our town sadly, but i have seen an increase in cycling in general round here.

    It's great to see different modes of transportation popping up. Hopefully more people will take advantage of it!

    Are these the same bikes that have in London? If so, they are so heavy! Really great thing to add to the city though! xx

      I'm not sure if they are by the same company as the one in london. I'm almost certain they are by the same folks that supply Montreal with bike share cycles. Yea, they kinda do look heavy!

    These look super cute! I've never been on the Boris bikes in London, but they are definitely a little bigger than these. Such a good idea.
