It was the largest concrete bridge in the U.S. when it opened, and remained so even 50 years later.  Designed by Abraham Burton Cohen with construction beginning in May 1912 in Northeast Pennsylvania, Wyoming county.  Construction on the bridge began in May 1912, and dedication took place on November 6, 1915.  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 11, 1977.  Almost half of the bulk of the bridge is underground.

During the Christmas season a decorated frieghter crosses the bridge playing music.  It's a gem hidden in the endless mountains.
