Petaluma Supply Co. | I Need That Flask

Petaluma Supply Co.—Carrying brands like Wheelman & Co., Izola, Field Notes, Stanley, and Baxter, they have everything your little heart could desire.  They've even taken it a step further and teamed up with Machine Era Co. to produce one-of-a-kind products.  I’d love to get my hands on that “Put some hair on your chest” flask!  Isn’t that right around the same area as Lagunita’s Brewing Company?  Is it too early to start drinking?  I kid, but seriously, check out Petaluma Supply Co., the prices are right and the products are great.

The Filson Connection

Filson has always done a great job connecting their brand with the customer.  The stories folks often write on the site are from first hand users of their products.  These people are passionate about what they do, what they wear and the quality of both of those things.  Myself included, I hope more people see that connection with this brand and put a little more action into their lives.  I've seen far too many shot shell bags filled with makeup and miscellaneous here in Philly.  Any way, I like what they do because they do it right (but could do more with the female line, just saying).

Every now and then I stumble upon something really cool.  Never before has story writing piqued my interests like this.  I'm sure it's been done, been blogged and written about a million times, but it's news to me and I absolutely love it.  -->

The Ministry of Stories is super fascinating and can only really get justice by following this link and reading some of the stories written.  While the idea may have bloomed in the states, a store like this one has never been done before.  If I'm wrong, link me!  Sharing the roof with the Hoxton Street Monster Supplies, these two interesting endeavors thrive.

The team at We Made This Ltd. is pulling off some of the coolest designs for their shop and the Ministry of Stories.  Behind the bookcases of goods is the entrance into the MoS:

There is a short BBC write-up and video about the business.  You can view it here.
Oh, right, I forgot to mention that this is across the pond in London.

I am really excited about checking this place out.  Unfortunately the hours are a little crazy, but I'll have to hop on my bike and head over to Manayunk for the barn sale.
