Beer Review (2): Saranac Pumpkin Ale

Brewery: Saranac   |  Beer:  Pumpkin Ale
Beer Advocate Review Average (rAvg): No Rating as of 8/31/12

Well, Beer Advocate is, I supppose,  not advocating the Saranac Pumpkin Ale yet.  This one has a nice light amber color and smells very fragrant right as you pop the top off.  I'm a sucker for pumpkin-flavored beer and treats, so right away I was excited.  The spices include cloves, ginger, vanilla, allspice and cinnamon.  The essentials for creating a fragrantly fall-like master-yummy.  The taste is sweet and refreshing with just enough spices to mesmerize your tongue after every sip.  I highly suggest giving this one a try, but maybe after you quench your thirst with a Smuttynose Pumpkin brew, one of my favorites and rated decently.  Saranac suggests pairing this beer with fowl and game birds.  Get your Elmer Fudd cap!  Bottoms Up!

All beer suggestions are welcomed!
