Give Unique Christmas Gifts This Year

Unique Christmas Gifts

Each year I find that the most precious gifts are those, big or small, that have been selected with the individual’s interests in mind.  Not just mindless spending and giving, but something heartfelt, meaningful and fun. So are you looking for something to compliment his quirky sense of style?  Or are your sisters into gardening this year like mine?  Uncommon Goods features hundreds of gifts by a variety of designers worth stuffing into the stocking.  Yes, we said #StockingStuffers

You can feel especially good about doing your Christmas shopping at Uncommon Goods because they've committed themselves to sustainability, integrity, compassion, and responsibility to others.  Find out more about what a B Corp Company does and what else is unique about Uncommon Goods.

Christmas Gifts for Dad

Christmas Gifts for Dad

1.  Dad sure does love a finely crafted brew, so long as it's not too "hoppy".  Get him a growler full of your favorite seasonal brew or his old standby. here

2.  Ah, the regular here, the Kershaw Leek.  Dad loves the springy action and the fact that if he does lose a hand attempting his "projects", he only needs the one to open it. here

3. Backwoodsman Magazines are definitely a treat.  Packed full of useful and interesting bushcraft and frontiersman/woman skills.  A delight to read, old man likes 'em too.  here

4.  Your local Army Navy store will have tons of these in stock.  Dad can finally wear a nice sweater that doesn't have a snowman knitted on the front for the holidays.  here

5.  Though he'd never admit it, he'll love what this stuff does to those gnarly old man hands of his. Badger Balm is the almighty hand soother. here

6.  Dad might not like this one, but everyone in the house will.  He will appreciate the sentiment, but why does his beer taste like pecans, apricots, and spices.  Aren't these things for girls?!  Nah! here

7.  And finally, the gift to outdo all other family members with, the Gransfor Bruks Forest Axe.  Enough said.  here

Cricket Leather Co. | Kick Off Special

The belts from Cricket Leather Co. out of Northern California may be the last belt you ever have to buy. Constructed from English Bridal leather sourced from Wickett & Craig Tannery (est. 1867 in PA), you can expect a quality product that will last a lifetime.  The leather undergoes a "hot-stuffing process in which all natural oils, waxes and tallows are used."  Each belt is cut from 8-10 oz. of pure, drum-dried leather and made to specifications. Every piece is hand-cut, stitched and dyed.  The buckle is made of solid brass and is locally powder coated. These belts just wont die, and you'll never want them to.

Looking for a handsome, quality belt for yourself, a lucky friend, or family member?  Cricket Leather Co. is about to launch their kick off special on November 29, 2013.  50 belts, $50 a piece. Just in time for the holidays! #StockingStuffers
